The Harvest Issue -- October 2005

This issue was headlined by an article on Nestle's enormous water grab in the town of McCloud, California, that has sparked a lively controversy in the town of McCloud. It also includes a good, long review of Eric Schlosser's excellent book, “Fast Food Nation,” a pithy little review of “Ubik,” by Phil Dick, and continuing in the belles lettres vein, introduces the world to Ashland's own serious art rockers, Romance Forgery. Rounded out with an interview of Ashland's Municipal Judge Allen Drescher, this issue is sweet.
